Local Digital Intro

Welcome to the Local Digital Services email newsletter

I have wanted to do an email newsletter like this for some time. I have a genuine love for local entrepreneurs who are living their dream of running their own businesses. YOU are the backbones of our communities. You employe workers, help people making a living and take care of their families.

Even more, you give back to your community. You are other local businesses’ biggest supporters. I have watched you root on your fellow business owners. When the pandemic of 2020 hit, our city rallied to help keep our restaurants in business. Our local chamber set up a Facebook group encouraging residents to pick up meals from these local food establishments.

Recently, a well-known BBQ place in Eastern Arkansas burned down. Before the end of the day, friends of the establishment had begun raising money.  This is the power of the local community and local businesses.

And so many have taken advantage of newer digital media.

If you are in business, every day you are bombarded with various ways to use digital marketing. It can be confusing.

So, I am here to help. I have been working in digital marketing for about twelve years.

I started by creating websites, then moved on to writing blog posts, working in content marketing, and then learned the ins and outs of copywriting.

Along the way, I have learned to create and write landing pages, email copywriting, presentations (I’ve given a few), and I have spent time writing articles for a statewide publication.

In other words, I have dipped into almost every stage of the marketing funnel. And, my distinct expertise is looking at things from 30K feet.

So, I am here with you. I run a content platform in Conway, Arkansas called Conway Scene. I love to see and help local businesses use digital marketing.

I am going to give as much value as I can. I am going to pull back the curtain to give you some honest information about digital marketing.

Along the way, I will introduce you to various tools and products I think can help you out. They will often contain affiliate links. There may be references to other digital products as well. Anything you purchase through those links will help me and this publication, but you under no obligation to purchase any of that.

Looking forward to joining you each month.
